Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Synai School, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using Synai School for your family, you accept these terms on behalf of your household. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe.

• You must be an adult to create a parent, teacher, or university account.
• You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Staff and teacher accounts must use multi-factor authentication.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

A parent creates and controls each child's account. As the parent, you are responsible for your child's use of Synai School and for supervising their learning. Children under 13 do not sign up on their own and do not have their own email login.

Before a child under 13 can use the platform, we require verifiable parental consent, as described in our Children's Privacy Notice. Read the Children's Privacy Notice

To keep Synai School safe and welcoming, you agree not to:

• Share another person's private contact information, or try to move a child's conversations off the platform.
• Harass, bully, threaten, or harm another user.
• Post unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content.
• Try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the platform.
• Misuse teacher or student surfaces to reach a child outside of the platform's supervised, parent-visible tools.

Paid plans and purchases are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

Refunds are handled according to our refund policy, which is shown at checkout and in your billing settings. Canceling is always as simple as subscribing — we do not use tricks or hidden steps to keep you paying.

Teachers who offer classes or courses on Synai School agree to additional terms:

• Teachers must pass a background check (through Checkr) and sign our statement of faith.
• Payouts are handled through Stripe Connect. The default revenue split is 70% to the teacher and 30% to the platform, unless a different rate is agreed in writing.
• Teachers may reach students only through the platform's supervised, parent-visible tools.
• Teachers are responsible for the accuracy and quality of the content they publish, subject to our content review.

Synai School and its original content, features, and branding belong to Synai Core Technologies LLC. Teachers keep ownership of the course content they create and grant us the license we need to host and deliver it to enrolled families. You may use content only for your own family's learning, not to copy, resell, or redistribute it.

Some features use AI. AI can make mistakes, so treat its output as a helpful aid, not a final authority — and never as medical, legal, or professional advice. We do not allow your data to be used to train AI models. See how our AI features handle data

Synai School is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Synai Core Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that violates these terms or puts the safety of a child or another user at risk. When an account is closed, our Privacy Policy explains what happens to the data.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Synai School is operated by Synai Core Technologies LLC.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will let you know and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Synai School after a change means you accept the updated terms.
